Beckii's birthday was Sunday. It is a tradition at our house to get the kind of cake, ice cream and meals for the day that bring a smile to your face and an mmmm, mmmm, good to your voice. This year she chose oatmeal cake, vanilla ice cream, and any kind of sherbet. Man was it delicious.
Michael was ordained a Teacher, made a counselor in the Teacher's quorum and he is now a Home Teacher...way to go kid, a lot of responsibility, but I know your up to it.
Skyler and Nonya's cutie pies were given a name and a blessing, Emisha Lee and Shane Kyle.
And to top it all off we sat down and enjoyed a late lunch with everyone on a spectacular, wonderful, warm, sunny, fall day; we even had to open the window to let a breeze flow through.
Our list of family and friends was long: Grandpa Terry, myself (Kathy), Michael, Mikaela. Andy, Becky, Holly and Mary. Eric, Beckii and Braxton. Shawn and Katie. Skyler, Nonya, Emisha and Shane. Nonya's sister Sonya with her boyfriend Tyler. Emisha's Dad, John. Nonya's brother Justin who is to be thanked for these photo's, my camera was on the blink. The counselor in our bishopric was here as well, Brother Munn's. (If I counted right that's 23, and Mikaela thinks I should count the animals since Grandpa's dog is like a family member ....so that's Katie and our cat Saimy.)
